This Series Is Anything But Over. By: Peter Snyder

Well, boy was I wrong. I thought this series was finished, done-zo, finito, and the Predators sure proved me wrong. The Stanley Cup Final is now even at 2 games a piece even though a lot of people, including myself, thought this series was over after game 1. This success lately can be credited to Nashville’s dominance at home during these playoffs, and I do not use the term dominance lightly. They are an astonishing 9-1 at home in this year’s playoffs, one of the best home records in playoff history. They also have 7 different players that have scored a go-ahead goal in this years playoffs, which breaks an NHL record and defines the term “sharing the puck.” I love this, I love that the Penguins are falling apart, I love how all of a sudden Matt Murray can’t stop a simple wrister, and I love that all the momentum has been completely stolen from them. There is still one big unanswered question, can the Predators steal one in Pittsburgh? If you’re the Penguins right now, all you have to do is hold serve and you are the Stanley Cup champions. The Predators are going to need to find a way to break serve, and I think that the opportunity is there in game 5. I think that the winner of game 5 will win the cup. #LetsGoPreds
