As much as it pains me to say it, this one is over folks. The “tire” is deflated, the hope is gone, and the Golden State Warriors are going to be the NBA Champions. On the bright side, we finally got a competitive basketball game! This was the type of game going in, I was expecting every night. Back and fourth, gritty, hard-fought basketball. Once again Lebron and Kyrie put on a show along with a better contribution from the role players but, it was still not enough. Honestly what more could they have done? This shows how good the Warriors are. The Cleveland Cavaliers threw the kitchen sink and it still wasn’t enough to take down Goliath. The Cavs went on a early 4th quarter run, building their biggest lead all series. It looked like they were on their way to making the series interesting again. What happened was the complete opposite. The warriors proceeded to go on a 9-0 run to get back in the game and then was topped off by a game winning three by who else than Kevin Durant. He has been sensational in these finals and is showing the world why is he is one of the best to play in this league. I think its clear as of today, KD is the finals MVP and there’s not even a close second. I’ll leave you with this, If the Cavs can somehow breakthrough that wall and just manage to win one game than_________. I want you to fill in theblank.
