The main story of this year’s NFL season has been unfortunately, the amount of injuries that we have seen and the star power that has been sidelined due to various injuries. These injuries have been so plentiful in fact, that I have decided to assemble an “All Injury NFL Super Team”. This team on paper is stacked and would be a heavy favorite to win the Super Bowl, just take a look at it for yourself.
Starting QB – Carson Wentz – Might have won the MVP if not for his season ending injury that occured during Week 14.
Back Up QB – Andrew Luck – This injury single-handedly destroyed any hope the Colts had at a successful season.
Starting RB – David Johnson – Arguably the best RB in the league. Broke millions of fantasy owners hearts with his season ending injury early in the season.
Back Up RB – Adrian Peterson – although Peterson is on the back-end of his career, he is still was of the most explosive RB’s in the game.
WR1 – Odell Beckham Jr. – One of if not the most explosive reciver in the NFL.
WR2 – Julian Edelman – One nibble, everyone knows the law.
WR3 – Allen Robinson – We Are, Penn State
TE – Greg Olsen – Kinda
Offensive Tackles – Joe Thomas, Jason Peters, Taylor Decker, Zach Strief, Joe Staley – That would be the best offensive line in football alone.
Offensive Guards – Marshal Yanda, Mike Iupati, Laurent Duvernay, Tardif Larry Warford, Jack Mewhort – That’s a lot of beef
Center – Ryan Kalil – Stud
Defensive Front – J.J. Watt, Stephon Tuitt, Arik Armstead , Solomon Thomas, Jonathan Allen, Cliff Avril, Sharrif Floyd – It’s just getting unfair at this point.
LBs – Jordan Hicks, Dont’a Hightower – Would not want to run up the middle against these two.
CB – Richard Sherman – LOB
S – Eric Berry – Most inspirational player in football.
S – Kam Chancellor – One of the most intimidating defensive forces the league has ever seen.
K – Caleb Sturgis?
P – Kasey Redfern – never heard of the guy, but he’ll get the job done I’m sure
There it is, the 2017 NFL all injury team. I think this team would be 15-1 and would cruise to the Super Bowl. That being said, it’s really a shame that this list is so stacked because this type of talent deserves to be on the field and not benched on the sidelines.
