Challenge 35

Episode 4 – The Challenge

When I was about 11, my aunt told me about how she used to watch a show in college called the challenge. The show was on MTV and was basically a combination of reality TV and extreme sports. I gave the show a shot and have been hooked ever since. Every Wednesday night, I sit down, pop open a bag of popcorn and enjoy the total madness that is the challenge.

Ironically enough, the 35th season of the challenge has been named total madness and has been a banger from the jump. Tonight’s episode featured swimming in a tunnel, a bar fight, and a double girls elimination.

I will now break down this years cast.

Aneesa Ferreira

This is Aneesa’s 13th challenge. Thus far, she has to yet to win a challenge championship and there is a good reason for it. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Aneesa is the farthest thing you could find from athletic. She sucks at the weekly challenges and constantly gets her ass kicked in eliminations. She does make for good reality TV however, and that is the reason she constantly gets asked to come back.

Ashley Mitchell (Eliminated)

Ashley, who is a former challenge champion, is one of the biggest cry babies you will ever find. When Ashley doesn’t get her way, she throws a fit and causes a scene. It a very unattractive trait to have and is a big reason for her early elimination during this season.

Cory Wharton

Cory is known to be one of the bad boys of the challenge. He has been kicked off of the show for fighting before and has hooked up with multiple women. However, since his last appearance on the show, Cory has become a father, which has completely changed his overall mindset and attitude.

Chris “CT” Tamburello (Eliminated)

CT is one of the all-time challenges greats. He has won multiple finals, countless eliminations and is considered as one of the most dominant competitors to ever enter The Challenge.

Dee Nguyen

Dee is last years reigning champion. Once considered a layup, Dee has time and tine again proved her doubters wrong and is now considered as an elite competitor.

Jenna Compono (Eliminated)

Jenna, who is also known as the badass barbie, is having herself one hell of a season. Compono has been in a long time relationship with former challenge star, Zach. Throughout this season, Zach has been accusing Jenna of cheating on him and has been demanding that she come home. However, Jenna has stuck to her guts and has been on a tear for the ages, winning one of the biggest upset eliminations the game has ever seen.

Jennifer West

This is only Jennies second challenge but im telling you right now, if she hangs around for a bit, she will go down as one of the all-time greats. She is an absolute specimen who has no physical weaknesses.

Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio

What can you say about Bananas man. The dude has been on this show since practically birth and has done every shady move in the book. However, the man is an absolute beast and is arguably the greatest contestant the show has ever seen.

Jordan Wiseley (Eliminated)

There’s no beating around the bush. Jordan is a condescending, arrogant prick. Nobody on the show, besides his fiance, likes him and every week, it seems as if Jordan is fighting with someone new. I will say this though, the man is one hell of an athlete and is one of the hardest working competitors you will ever find.

Josh Martinez

I don’t understand how Josh always makes it deep in the show. He kinda sucks

Kailah Casillas (Eliminated)

Coming into this season, Kailiah had a strong, loving relationship back home. She then broke that relationship by cheating on her bf with a British dude named bear. We do in fact, live in a society.

Kyle Christie

Kyle is British and LOVES to stir the pot. That is pretty much all you need to know about him.

Mattie Lynn Breaux

This is Mattie’s second challenge. The girl doesn’t say much on the show, but is a fierce competitor and is a sneaky pick for these years final.

Melissa Reeves

Melissa is a short British girl who has maybe said two words during this season. Cherrio mate.

Nany Gonzalez

Nany has been on the challenge for what seems to be 90 years now. The girl always shows her face, causes drama and never wins. Rinse, wash and repeat. She is very, VERY attractive however.

Nelson Thomas

Great competitor, terrible person.

Rogan O’Connor

Along with Dee, Rogan is currently the reigning challenge champion. The guy has only been on a handful of challenges, but has already made his mark as one of the elites.

Stephen Bear (eliminated)

Remember how I told you guys that Kailah ruined her relationship by hooking up with a guy named bear. yea..,. this is him.

Tori Deal (Eliminated)

Tori Deal is one of the better competitors this show has ever seen. She is fast, strong and smart. However, due to her condescending fiance, Jordan, Tori was upset in an elimination where she could not even hear herself think.

Tula “Big T” Fazakerley (Eliminated)

Big T is BY FAR my favorite contestant on this years season of The Challenge. Out of nowhere, the once shy brit, broke out of her shell and became this exuberant, amazing ball of energy. Bit T made me not only laugh, but also cry when she was eliminated due to injury. We all love you BT  (PS, YES, those are fresh cotton balls.)

Wes Bergmann

The greatest politicker the game has, and will ever see. Pure genius coming out of that ginger beard.

Asaf Goren (Eliminated)

Asaf was eliminated on this first episode of this year’s challenge. He’s also a rookie. That’s pretty much all I got.

Bayleigh Dayton

Bayleigh, who is a rookie to the game, has made the smart move of forming an alliance with Wes. Do to that alliance, we are already halfway through the show and Bayleigh has yet to face an elimination. That is unheard of for a rookie.

Christopher Jordan “Swaggy C” Williams

Swaggy is Bayleigh’s bf and has also formed an alliance with Wes. He may have a funny name, but the guy is out here making money moves.

Faysal Shawn “Fessy” Shafaat

Fessy, who is a former division one college football player, is one of the best rookies that I have ever seen. The dude is a monster of a man and dominated Jordan in last weeks final. Take notes, because Fessy has a real shot to win this thing,

Jay Starrett (Eliminated)

Jay won two early impressive eliminations but then got absolutely annihilated by Rogan, which sent him home packing. Welcome to the show, rook.

Jennifer Lee (Eliminated)

I forgot this girl was even on the show, to be honest.

Kaycee Clark

Kaycee is so freaking chill that it is almost unfair how cool she is. As you can tell, I am getting tired of writing these descriptions as each one is becoming shorter than the next.
